The food was so delicious. The waiters were very nice and helpful. Always picking up after you and being clean. The shrimp was so delicious the best shrimp I've ever had. The guacamole was really good. My friends had the shrimp cocktail and corn. Very delicious as well. The prices were good too. Please come if you get the chance. Highly recommend !
The shrimp Cachondos may have been the best shrimp I’ve ever had in the world. And we eat a lot of shrimp. Not the cheapest Mexico priced but definitely worth it.
Our first restaurant we visited in Playa del Carmen. It did not disappoint. Great flavors, good portions, and very fast service. Two to three tacos each with an appetizer was very filling. A great place to grab a quick bite to eat.
We rediscovered Los Aguachiles on our most recent visit to Playa del Carmen. We ate there years ago, shortly after the restaurant opened. Back then, they weren't able to serve alcohol and were disorganized, although the food was good. We ended up eating several meals there on this trip and stopped by for a cocktail one evening. The food was excellent, we tried several different items from the menu, grilled shrimp, fish taco, seafood rice, calamari and "Rock & Roll shrimp. From our experience a lot of the menu items are a bit different from the standard seafood items you might see at other restaurants, which was nice. We enjoyed their margaritas and a unique mezcal cocktail with cucumber. Overall, excellent food, great service and a relaxing atmosphere. I'll also mention for the quality of the food and drink, we thought the prices were very reasonable.
Great ceviche. We ordered the guacamole and a large shrimp ceviche to split. It was good. We weren’t terribly hungry so it was the perfect amount. The staff were very friendly and even offered to give me free ice for my water bottle. Their sauces are all pretty tasty as well. We decided to come here after a pleasant experience at their other location on the north side of town. This location is better.
Don’t judge this spot by the pictures! The food is amazing, it’s super cute, and the cocktails are very generous! Personal note, I love the menu’s graphic design ;) Get the ceviche, it’s fantastic!
Aguachile tostado was great. Mostly seafood options, everything was good. I will be back.
The food here is really delicious, but just know that the prices are a little high. What's great is the waiter can give you good suggestions on what to eat, depending on what you're in the mood for. I had some of the best seafood tacos in Mexico at this place. The flavors were amazing, and it seemed like they really know how to make authentic tacos. Definitely worth a visit, especially if you're a fan of seafood and looking for something tasty.
